The Graduation Dinner is not intended as a formal graduation ceremony, but it is a special occasion for the Year 13 students to celebrate completing their school years alongside the people who have supported them throughout - parents, friends and teachers. They will also be welcomed as Westlakers (Old Boys).The evening’s proceedings will include a buffet dinner, presentation of certificates and Westlaker ties, a valedictory address and plenty of opportunities for photographs. It is a licensed event and students who are 18+ will need to bring valid ID. We are delighted that Sam Wallace, a former Westlake student, NZ broadcaster and current winner of Celebrity Treasure Island, will be our guest speaker.
Students will all be seated with their own family and can request two friends who they would also like at their table with their families. Please complete this information when purchasing tickets. As this event is not compulsory, please ask your son to check that the friends he is requesting to sit with are planning to attend.
